Isla Weber

Isla studies neuroscience at Princeton University. During a gap year before applying to MD/PhD programs, she is working at our lab to investigate the role of the serotonin 2A receptor in stress and fear learning to better understand the neurological basis of PTSD and its treatment. Isla is interested in the therapeutic action of serotonergic psychedelics in the brain. Outside of the lab, she is analyzing human cognitive data and integration reports from a psilocybin study at Imperial College London and advocates for student development in the field through a leadership role at the Intercollegiate Psychedelics Network.

Isla is currently prepping for her medschool applications, while working as a full time Research Scientist at Lorentz Bio.
