Colin Payne-Rogers graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2014 with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering where he researched non-linear control systems. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at Columbia University. He first joined the lab in 2019 where he developed data analysis pipelines to help understand the relationship between activity in the hippocampus and behavior, and returned in 2023 to help investigate activity patterns of granule and mossy cells in the dentate gyrus during sleep and wakefulness.
