Carla graduated from Princeton University in May 2021, with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary
Biology. She completed her senior thesis in disease modeling but was also a member of Dr. Elizabeth
Gould’s lab in the psych/neuro starting her freshman spring. In this lab she worked on mouse
projects surrounding adult-born neurons in the hippocampus and their relation to social and object
memory. She joined our lab as a Research Assistant in September 2021.
In 2023, Carla secured
admission to Cornell Medical School.
